The Guinness Pro12 introduced two South African teams into the mix in the 2017/2018 tournament making it the Guinness Pro14 and changed the entire design of the competition, creating a new look and feel to the competition.

In May 2017 the mighty Munster men made it to the final to face a brilliant Scarlet side that stole the match with a mesmerizing a 46 to 22 point win to win the Guinness Pro12 cup. After an almost sold out Aviva Stadium saw Scarlet lift the cup, it was decided that the final would return to the Aviva Stadium again in 2018 after the fans felt such a warm Irish welcome.

We are far from knowing who will be in the final at this point only half way through the championship but one thing we can guarantee that the final is sure to be as exciting as it was in 2017.

Regardless of which teams make it through the knock out stages and qualify to get to the final and play on the pitch at Aviva Stadium, one thing that will always be there will be the roar of the crowd cheering on one or both of the teams who are battling for the cup!
