The CCD or Convention Centre Dublin is the jewel in the Spencer’s Dock development on Dublin’s docklands. The venue hosts high profile conferences and events from all over the world each year.
The Convention Centre Dublin’s prime location offers visitors easy access to Dublin’s City Centre. Maldron Hotel Newlands Cross although not in the city centre, is highly accessible through public transport or car. The Red LUAS line takes approximately twenty five minutes to the Convention centre and is just a short walk from the Docklands stop. There is also the option of the bus which will leave you a fifteen walk from the centre. If you choose to travel by car, it will take approximately twenty to twenty five minutes to reach the convention centre.
The CCD is the financial and technology hub of Dublin and is located conveniently from Dublin Airport as well the Dublin Port so it is easily accessible for all. Since opening in 2010 the venue has hosted over 1,200 events and with such large events being held in the convention centre it helps to generate revenue for the Irish economy.
