This year Dublin will host a St. Patrick’s festival taking place from Thursday March 17th – Sunday March 20th, with a range of events taking place over the four days. The main event will of course be the St. Patrick’s Day parade, which will see visitors coming from many different places in the world to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. The parade will travel through Dublin city and will be full of colour and theatrics.
There will also be fun fairs on Custom House Quay and Merrion Square for all to enjoy, with plenty of family attractions to keep everyone entertained. For the adults there will be an Irish craft beer and whiskey village in the RDS, which will celebrate and promote Irish whiskey, cider, craft beer and artisan food and no need to worry about the Irish weather as it is all indoors! To make things even more Irish, Dublin city will be turning green; some of Dublin’s most famous and iconic buildings will be turning green to celebrate St. Patrick.
So book your break now and spend St. Patrick’s Day in Dublin with your family or friends, with lots of fun things to see and do, it is guaranteed to be a great break away.
